the BIG adventures of a little girl...

WELCOME to the world of Madeleine Mary, a charming little princess with a neverending smile, bright blue eyes, and an insatiable curiosity that keeps her parents constantly on their toes.

"Grown-ups never understand anything for themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them." - Antoine De Saint Exupery

Things We SAW at the Zoo

Butterflies!

Mom loved taking pictures of them. She'd like to go back when it's less busy and try to take some better shots. Maybe we can even get them to land on us. There were landing on other people's heads and hands, but they were older kids/adults who stand still more than Daniel and I do.

The pretty flamingos were fun to watch.

This gibbon was very lazy. I guess he plays Lump on a Bog too!

The aquarium from above.

"DORY! DORY! DORY!" That's what I said when I saw these fish. So did lots of other kids. Nemo fans unite!

Gill was also in there. Lots of him! Daniel and I were actually pretty calm in front of all the fish. I could have stayed there all day.

More turtles...including one that looks straight from the Jurassic Era.

We took this picture for Boppa. Let's just say Medtronic is a company close to Boppa's heart.
