the BIG adventures of a little girl...

WELCOME to the world of Madeleine Mary, a charming little princess with a neverending smile, bright blue eyes, and an insatiable curiosity that keeps her parents constantly on their toes.

"Grown-ups never understand anything for themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them." - Antoine De Saint Exupery

Here we are at the end of a loooong, tiring, somewhat painful, very exciting, super-big day. I found a pretty nice place to sit though.
The trip back to Uncle John & Auntie Jenny's house was a special treat for me...both Uncle Brian and Gunnar rode in the back seat with me.

This is what Rough and Tumble looks like at the end of a big day: scraped, bruised, watermelon soaked, and ready to relax... unless other people are still doing stuff.

It was lots of fun to play with Kaylee & CC, meet & greet all the relatives I don't see enough, eat new & interesting food, enjoy cake & ice cream, have watermelon running down my arms, climb stairs, run through a flowerbed, blow bubbles, drive the ATV, explore a new yard... no wonder I'm so tired.
I better sleep well tonight; tomorrow Daniel & I are going to the zoo.
