Happy Red, White, and Blue Day!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
It's my second time at the annual family picnic to honor my great-great-grandparents Cecil and Anna (it was Grandpa Cecil's birthday, so we ate cake and ice cream in his memory). Everyone says they were pretty special people. Grandma Cecil would have been pleased to see a 5th generation at the picnic!
Here we are, the newest crew.
My cousin, Morgan, was helping us blow bubbles. You can tell I am good at sharing by the way I use Kaylee's bottle instead of my own.

I had a little setback early in the day. Daddy and I were walking, and I fell into this pile of rocks - it looked like an inviting place to explore. Two head lumps (both sides of my forehead), a cut eye, and a shiner later, it doesn't seem so inviting! I recovered pretty quickly, but Daddy still felt bad. Remember, Daddy, I am the head banging baby!

Kaylee and I were discussing the ups and downs of being hairy babies. Why do moms always have to follow us around with brushes, combs, ribbons, barrettes, and other implements of torture?!?

Fun with Uncle Brian...Daniel & I like to keep him running. Bet he'd go faster if he didn't have that smoker's hack interrupting his breathing all the time. I'm just saying...
