the BIG adventures of a little girl...

WELCOME to the world of Madeleine Mary, a charming little princess with a neverending smile, bright blue eyes, and an insatiable curiosity that keeps her parents constantly on their toes.

Mad at 18 Months

Well, Mom & Daddy took me to see the doctor again. I really like her, but she needs to make those nurses stop jabbing me with needles. That's not so fun! I did get to read lots of books, Dr. W. and I played with a toy, she let me check out her stethoscope (complete with a Dora sticker), plus I even said some words for her. Maybe next time I'll break out my singing talents.

I am 34 inches tall (97%th percentile) and weigh 29 pounds (95th percentile). That makes me the size of the average 2-year, 3-month old. Wow! I wonder how big I'll be in 9 months.

The nurse with the needle did get my forgiveness after she gave me a Dora AND a Boots sticker.
After all of that fun, Mom & Daddy took me to the grocery store where my mom was nice enough to dig out this great cart for me. Daddy thought it handled like a bus and was about as quiet as one too, but I LOVED it. I spent a lot of the trip using both steering wheels!

If Boppa was along, he'd have called this a woman park. I had to do it. My cart-car already had a door issue. I didn't need some crazy fool parking too close and dinging it up more!
