WELCOME to the world of Madeleine Mary, a charming little princess with a neverending smile, bright blue eyes, and an insatiable curiosity that keeps her parents constantly on their toes.

I'm a Mermaid!

I wanted to be one thing for Halloween...a MERMAID. Well, I did have a very brief moment when I wanted to be Gene Simmons (Mom's note: she saw KISS on a Scooby episode, then the next day saw a kid dressed as Gene, so she ALMOST changed her mind...after quick consideration of either having a dress she could keep or make up that would be washed off at the end of the night, the "dancing dress" won!), but I was a mermaid. I even got to help Mom pick out the fabric for my tail. Daddy got in on the act by making the scallop shells for my top!

I had a great time visiting Mom's friend, Tina. We were supposed to stop there briefly, then trick-or-treat her neighborhood, but we spent too much time at her house. It was okay, Tina & Mike gave me a whole bowl of candy, so my Disney Princess treat sack was quite heavy!

We also stopped at Aunt Dan & Auntie Karen's where I learned what people give when they forget to buy candy (and it wasn't a stapler, laundry detergent, or twin-pack of potato chips like Mom & Daddy said)! Gram G & Boppa had some candy plus DILLY BARS! What a great night...

How many bracelets does a mermaid need anyhow?!?
